Here's something new: a set of hand-drawn, icon-sized textures. It's the first time I've tried making textures. Constructive criticism very welcome, as always.



Twenty 100 x 100 pixel textures in png format.

To those who have this journal friended for the readymade icons, you probably won't find these textures very useful. They're mostly a resource for other icon-makers.

The "Whipped Cream & Other Delights" icon won the what-icon-tutorial-should-I-make poll. Thanks to everyone who voted. I didn't get started on it in time, though, and won't really get an opportunity to finish the tutorial before this weekend at the earliest. Not that I'm expecting anyone to be holding their breath. :)
